"I was interested in my community, and it seemed that real estate was a great way to connect and to help people." This is how Jason Fraker describes the spark that initially attracted him to the world of real estate. In the booming landscape of Middle TN and beyond, Jason and Allison Fraker have carved out a reputation as premier REALTORS®. The Frakers, shaped by their small-town upbringings, have a deep sense of community and a commitment to building lasting relationships. This approach has led them to achieve remarkable and highly respected success in the industry and the communities they serve.
Raised in Franklin County, Jason and Allison treasure the values and lessons learned from their time in this close-knit area. Reflecting on their upbringing, Allison says, 'We cherish the natural beauty and peace of places like Tims Ford Lake and Sewanee. Our roots in this region are deep, and we're proud to continue serving and connecting with the people there.' Growing up in Franklin County taught them the importance of building lasting relationships, maintaining a good reputation, and the art of finding contentment in the simple things. They learned that true confidence is grounded not in material wealth but in character and resourcefulness. Their upbringing instilled in them the belief that the best things in life are often found close to home and that every problem has a solution. These lessons from the early years continue to influence their work and interactions in the real estate industry.
"My first job was on the road as a technician for telecommunications," Jason shares, reflecting on his pre-real estate career. With over two decades in project management and Allison’s experience in digital marketing and content development, it's clear their diverse backgrounds have shaped their meticulous approach to real estate. The couple got licensed in quick succession—Jason in 2016 and Allison in 2017—with a dedication to excellence that resulted in Jason closing 28 homes in his first year.
"We consider ourselves to be listing specialists," says Allison, highlighting their current focus. They have synergized Jason’s attention to detail and Allison’s marketing prowess into a forte that brings each home to life through compelling videos and a strong online presence. Jason’s designation as a Ramsey Pro (Endorsed Local Provider) speaks volumes of their competence and integrity in the field.
With their eyes on what's to come, Jason and Allison are filled with anticipation. "The joy of connecting with new people every day and the honor of clients entrusting us again are what we look forward to," they pronounce together. They see the community in the greater Middle TN area expanding and evolving, and they plan to be an integral part of that growth.
The market, as they observe, is ever-changing. Today’s challenges of higher interest rates are balanced by a more equitable market for buyers and sellers, allowing for more thoughtful decision-making. Yet, the Frakers remain resolute in their ability to sell homes and serve their clients effectively amidst market shifts.
Jason and Allison find pleasure when not serving their clients in tending to their mini farm, taking joy in the gardens, flowers, and fresh vegetables they cultivate. Not only does the Frakers’ home serve as a place to unwind amidst nature, Jason and Allison often invite friends, past clients, and family over, fostering a sense of community through shared meals and fellowship. On other occasions, they enjoy stepping out to savor the offerings at local restaurants like Alley on Main or Love Thai, showcasing their commitment to support local businesses.
The Frakers’ charitable inclinations are as robust as their business ethics, with long-term commitments to non-profit organizations like Greenhouse Ministries, Portico, Shia Fund and a favorite; Divine Care Ministries in Uganda. They believe in the principle of giving back to the community that has nurtured them. Most importantly, the Frakers have become involved in the Olive Tree Church, a new church plant in Murfreesboro.
The Frakers’ conversations about their family are filled with pride and joy, as they share stories of their children, Christopher, Kaitlyn and Faith, and granddaughter Zoey. Their guiding principles in life and business are deeply rooted in the teachings of the Bible, which they consider the foundational text for personal conduct and business ethics. They're committed to integrity, as reflected in their reverence for a biblical worldview. They also draw valuable insights from books like “The Hiding Place” by Corrie Ten Boom, "The Ideal Team Player" by Patrick Lencioni, “A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23” by W. Phillip Keller and "Giving It All Away… and Getting It All Back Again" by David Green, which all resonate with their pursuit of personal growth and professional excellence.
Jason and Allison, with a deep-rooted connection to the land, see themselves nurturing the community through gardening alongside their real estate careers. They imagine cultivating a shared space where neighbors could come together to grow fresh produce, exchange gardening tips, and strengthen community bonds over the shared love of tilling the soil and reaping the harvest. This vision aligns with their passion for bringing people together and fostering a spirit of collaboration and support within their community.
One of the Frakers most memorable acts of service was during the 2020 toilet paper shortage. Jason and Allison bought a pallet of toilet paper and personally delivered rolls of toilet paper labeled “you are essential to us” to clients' homes with a note reminding them of their importance in a time of uncertainty. "Our clients loved it and it provided us with a tangible way to serve while the world stood still", Allison responded. It's this blend of earnest service and community spirit that makes the Frakers stand out.
This spontaneous generosity exemplifies their commitment to service beyond the expected. Their thoughtful gesture not only addressed a pressing need but also conveyed a message of solidarity and care, reinforcing the idea that every individual matters. This act of kindness, infused with personal touch and warmth, is a hallmark of how they conduct their business and interact with the community. It is actions like these that have solidified their reputation, not just as REALTORS® but as pillars of the Middle TN community, whose impact resonates well beyond the realm of real estate
