What It's Like to Live in Northwoods
Northwoods is laid out in numbered sections, with streets such as Northwoods Drive, Alexander Boulevard, Winterberry Drive, Westwood Drive, Mosaic Trail and Bradberry Drive. Listings across the neighborhood mention cul-de-sac lots, sidewalks and mature landscaping, and many lots are big enough for fenced yards, pools and detached garages. Recent listings have included a heated saltwater pool and a detached four car garage with finished space above it.
Memorial Boulevard is the main north and south road, and Old Fort Parkway runs east and west toward I-24. From Northwoods Drive, MTSU is about 8 minutes away and Sprouts Farmers Market is about 5 minutes away. The hospital and most of the larger stores are a short drive from there.
Local tip: Northwoods is about a 10 minute walk (0.5 mile on Google Maps) from Providence Christian Academy on Dejarnette Lane. The neighborhood has been built out for years, so it has mature trees, established landscaping and a finished look that newer areas of Murfreesboro are still growing into.
